How to delete your personal data from Moodhero
Your Data, Your Control
At Moodhero, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page explains what data we collect, how you can request deletion, and what happens when you delete your account.
What Data We Collect
When you use Moodhero, we collect the following types of personal data:

How to Delete Your Data
Option 1: Delete Account In-App (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete all your data is through the Moodhero app:
- Open the Moodhero app on your device
- Go to Settings (tap the gear icon)
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- Enter your password to confirm
- Tap "Delete Permanently"
Option 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion via email, please send an email to:
Please include the email address associated with your Moodhero account in your request. We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
Important: Deletion is Permanent
When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our systems. This action cannot be undone, and your data cannot be recovered.
When you delete your account, we will remove:
- Account data - Your email, name, profile picture, and settings
- Partner profiles - All partner information and cycle data
- Health data - Mood logs, symptoms, and predictions
- Chat history - All conversations with the AI assistant
- Notification data - Push tokens and notification history
- Subscription data - Payment history and subscription records
Data Retention After Deletion
Once you delete your account, your personal data is removed immediately from our active systems. However, please note:
- Backup systems may retain encrypted copies for up to 30 days before permanent deletion
- We may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you for analytics purposes
- We may retain certain data if required by law (e.g., financial transaction records)
Your Rights
In addition to deletion, you have the right to:
- Access - Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction - Update or correct your personal data
- Portability - Receive your data in a portable format
- Restriction - Limit how we use your data
